Blue Ridge Tours Motorcoach Safety Information
All of our drivers meet the following standards:
- Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements
- Participate in a random drug and alcohol testing program
- Attend scheduled driver safety meetings
- Pass an annual DOT physical examination
- Undergo an annual examination of their driving record
All of our motorcoaches undergo:
- Daily inspection by the driver
- Regularly scheduled maintenance at least every 5,000 miles
- Monthly safety checks
- Annual thorough state inspection
- Random safety inspections by the FMCSA and DOT
